Bottom-line: My dress arrived early, along with the veil and petticoat. I had more time to search for my dream dress than I was led to believe.
I made an appointment for 12-30-17 for my first wedding dress shopping experience for my wedding next year. My consultant, Paula, was so great! I told her my budget and the styles of dresses I wanted to try on. She worked with me and some of my bridal party to find the perfect dress for me. Although my maid of honor found my dress, Paula never tried to push full priced dresses or styles that I did not like on me. She was patient and very helpful. I went during their semi-annual sale and came in incredibly under my dress budget! I couldn't believe how such an expensive looking dress was so reasonably priced. I found the perfect dress for me and the whole experience was wonderful. I also purchased my veil and veil clip. I would highly recommend this place for any future bride.
I never write reviews but had to share this experience! First off, the building and the selection and quantity of sale dresses is amazing! More importantly, the consultant that I worked with was Jessica and she was awesome! I would suggest her to anyone who wants to have fun and wants someone who's honest. She was great about finding dresses that fit my style and dresses that were within or below my budget. I wanted time to think about the dresses and she didn't pressure me at all. Also we went over our appointment time and she never rushed us. Great experience!!
Drove an hour and a half out of town for rude service. Buying a wedding dress is a huge and special event. And our consultant was not happy or showed enthusiasm for what she does for a living. We left there disappointed and let down. Our experience was not fun. And I don't think I'll ever go back there again. It's not worth the trip or rude attitudes.
Just left with my sister. So disappointed and absolutely NOT the experience we were expecting based on this place's reputation. You just don't get the full experience. They don't go all out and make the bride feel special at all. Our consultant was awful. She had a terrible, crabby disposition and was super snarky and kind of a bully. Would not let my mother and I express our opinion or help to explain to her what my sister wanted or liked, she wouldn't listen to my sister and just kept bringing dresses that weren't at all what she was describing, didn't give us a tour initially or explain that we could look in th back rooms, complained when my sister found a dress she liked because she already had "a room full of dresses". Her attitude was horrible and totally ruined our experience. My sister found the dress but didn't purchase it today because we didn't want to give her our money! She was that bad.
Low’s Bridal provided a better experience than David’s Bridal, yet left something to be desired. I appreciated their large selection of plus-sized dresses, however, they would not let me try on a dress in a smaller size that could be ordered in my size – you see this in bridal shows all the time, where they strap a larger girl into a smaller dress. Ultimately, I felt pressured into buying a dress because, as the sales lady said, I have to wear something on my wedding day. It was a dress I looked good in, but not my dream dress.
