As I left, finally, with my food, it seemed to me that McDonald's had the wrong manager in place? Regina looked me in the eye, greeted me, worked hard to make sure the soda/amenities station was in good shape, and asked if I needed anything (I had no doubt that she'd take care of it, if I did). Regina could teach some of the younger folks a whole lot about respect and customer service.
There's one big positive HOWEVER to this unfortunate review. There was an older (not old) woman - I think her name tag said she was Regina - cleaning and straightening the soda station. She looked directly at me and said, "Hi, how are you doing today?" This was the only real human and humane interaction I had with any staff. She was so pleasant! And I enjoyed chatting with her briefly (while she continued working).
While on a road trip back from Texas, we decided to stop at this McDonald's to get a Happy Meal for our two boys for being so good. When we ordered, we ordered what we wanted plus a caramel macchiato. The lady taking our order said that the machine was down. So we thought okay, we will take what we can get and go on. The lady at the cash register was extremely slow. Then you go to the second window to get your order and they gave us two dr. Peppers, we ordered one dr. Pepper and one sweet tea. Then they asked us to move up to the third window where we had to wait 5 minutes to get the chicken tenders. An employee brought us the tenders, they gave us two girl prizes in the Happy Meals and we asked if they had any boy prizes. She all they had were the girl prizes. Then, we asked for napkins, ketchup, and a straw for my husband's newly made sweet tea. When the employee came back, we said thank you and smiled and her response was "uh huh". Then, as we were eating our meal needless to say the boys did not have the apple slices not happy meals like we ask for. Totally would not go to this McDonald's again, someone needs to come in and manage this place and get it organized. Extremely dissatisfied!
I am giving four stars mainly because there was a certain sandwich my wife always got that is apparently no longer offered and that just made her grumpy. We ended up getting nothing but did use the facilities. I would give 5 stars for overall appearance and neatness. The decor was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean.
Very few restaurants on this stretch of Arkansas. Met McDonald's expectation of service, cleanliness, and price; got special orders correct and in timely manner. Only one issue was the presence of flies.
Stopped in to use the facilities and get a quick bite while on a trip. This McDonald's looks recently remodeled from the outside, one of the new style McDonald's. So, we were hopeful for a positive experience. Despite being apparently newly remodeled, the place looked dirty. The mirror in the men's looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The floors looked unswept and unwashed. When I asked one gentleman if he was in line, he said, that he'd already ordered and was hoping that he didn't die before they delivered his food. Twelve minutes later, I was wondering the same thing. The manager (?) offered a single-syllable, no eye contact, "Sorry for the wait." I guess she fulfilled the policy (though without any sincerity).
A disaster zone of failure and mediocrity, this restaurant has managed to screw up half of our order. We ordered it, and it took half an hour away from our trip from one end of the country to the other. Well at first, the locations appearance gave a semblance of truth and quality, it quickly revealed itself as a facade, giving way to broken ketchup containers, and slow delivery time. A half hour wait gave way to the classic McDonald mediocrity, with our order misinterpreted to include an extra peice of food, with two orders of fries stolen.
